Although he's recorded with such American jazz masters as Curtis Fuller and Jeff Hamilton, Dutch pianist Peter Beets is just starting to make a name for himself on the international scene.
While the first Criss Cross appearance of his New York Trio brought critical raves and fanfares, Page Two is sure to bring Beets an even wider audience.
This time around bassist Larry Grenadier and drummer Willie Jones III complete the trio as they explore a varied program of originals and standards from the pens of Sonny Rollins, Ahmad Jamal, and Billy Strayhorn.
